The location and room are great. They allow pets, a great service and good feature for any hotel that attracts pet owners. They also have decent amenities and clean rooms. The only flaw is the staff is not giving the welcoming impression or service that says stay here and come back. Essentially, the staff don't know there software, don't print out receipts automatically upon check out, or focus on the main customer there before phone calls. Don't expect a great service experience when staying here.

if I could put zero I would; there were roaches and bedbugs in my room. I would simply say to stay away.

Friends made the reservation and what a mistake. I belong to Choice Rewards and this motel was the worst ever. The heater did not work and the outside temp. was 47 degrees. The room was very musty, the continental breakfast was not up to standards, the outside was not cared for. There were many children and it seemed like they were permanent residents. I cannot believe that the company would give that motel a 3.5 rating. Check it out!!

From the moment i walked into the econolodge i was treated like a star. Jenny at the front desk was extremely friendly amd helpful i enjoyed every second of my stay and will be returning.

The staff was very pleasant upon check-in. However, when we got to the room, we found crumbs on the desk and debris on the floor, the towels were used & the bathroom tub was dirty. No other rooms were available and we had already been charged for the room earlier that day. No refund or other mitigation was offered. The beds were in disarray & since the sheets and pillows had stains, we asked for fresh towels and bed linens. No staff showed any interest in assessing the room for themselves. They handed us the stack of towels and sheets at the door and left. We made the beds ourselves. The smell of embedded smoke in our non-smoking room kept at least one of us up most of the night. The mattresses were comfortable, I'll give them that. But it didn't really make up for the rest, including the mystery stains on the bathroom door that could have been blood, or tobacco spit or some other bodily fluid (fortunately the spots were dry). The entire room gave the impression of having been rented out for the hour that day, prior to our check-in. When checking out, the manager did not ask how our stay was, he simply yelled our room number out to the other hotel staff enjoying the continental breakfast. I suppose so that they could clean it to their usual standards?

I've seen cleaner rest stops on a highway. In fact, we had been in Saratoga that day, and the public restrooms in the local park would have been a better place to stay. We won't be using Econo-Lodge again. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
